Fall Big Sit Habitat Drive

On Saturday, October 10 — World Migratory Bird Day and the peak of fall migration — the birding team at the South Padre Island Birding, Nature Center & Alligator Sanctuary will be birding on the back deck from 8:00am to sunset in an effort to record as many species as possible.
You can join the effort to conserve migratory birds by pledging a monetary amount per bird species recorded on the day, as a fundraiser to help the center restore its wetlands and expand its habitats. You can also come out and help record birds on the day (general admission fees apply).
